Comments/contents:
The course will outline the main figures, works, and themes in medieval Jewish philosophy between the 10th and 15th centuries, in the Islamicate and Christian realms. It will focus on contextualizing Jewish thought within the Arabic and Latin philosophical traditions on the one hand, and within the specific concerns of Jewish tradition on the other.
