There is no better place for the advancement of your master thesis than Hamburg, the Gateway to the World and true city of saints and sinners. This master workshop aims to create new ideas that will flow around the globe in a similarly liberal and cosmopolitan spirit.
There is no better place for the advancement of your master thesis than Rome, the Eternal City and capital of the old world for centuries and almost half a millennium. This master workshop aims to create new ideas that will rule with similarly undisputed power and authority.
Content:
The seminar will be organized in cooperation between Universität Hamburg (UHH) and Libera Università Internazionale degli Studi Sociali Guido Carli (LUISS). Students from LUISS will visit Hamburg on 17-18/04/2023 and students from UHH will travel to Rome on 27-28/04/2023. Students organize the travel themselves but will be supported with a travel grant (which will not cover the full costs, however). Based on a submitted proposal (exposé) of the master thesis, students will present their ideas and concepts and provide comments on another proposal.
In the mornings, students are invited to discuss their theses in small groups in a developmental and supportive setting committed to the academic spirit. In the afternoons, the group will visit two companies at each site.
Schedule:
- 22/02/2023, 10:15-11:15am: Information session for prospective participants via Zoom (Meeting-ID: 610 3191 1142, Code: 41761340)
