Within the framework of the exam exam course, students learn how to work on tax law cases in an expert manner on the basis of former exams in the specialization area. Accordingly, the exam exam course refers to all sub-legal areas of the focus area and thus covers the exam-relevant subjects. The examinations of the course address legal questions that can deal with general tax law, tax law of the individual tax laws and fiscal constitutional law.
The course is aimed at all students of the specialization area and not only at those who already want to prepare for the specialization area exam. Accordingly, the exam course offers every student, regardless of their semester or level of knowledge, the opportunity to repeat and deepen the knowledge they have already acquired.
During the respective dates of the course, case solutions are developed and discussed together. Prior to some of the dates, students also have the voluntary opportunity to take mock examinations and receive an assessment for their work. This is not, however, a necessary prerequisite for participation in the exam course. Rather, the course provides participants with basic problem-solving skills for dealing with tax law issues through an open exchange about exams.
