The TOEFL test is designed to measure the English skills of non-English speaking people by testing the four main areas of any language.You will practice all four skills required to successlfully complete a TOEFL test. The four areas are reading, listening, speaking and writing. The TOEFL focuses on how English is used in an academic setting, which is why schools and universities use TOEFL scores for admission purposes, The test is designed to assess your speaking, listening, writing, and reading skills to make sure you can join an English-speaking environment. The class will focus on these four areas and provide useful approaches and tactics to deal with the exam.
Enrollment requirements:
Proof of appropriate language level (minimum B2 for B2 courses, C1 for C1 courses), not older than three years.
This can be achieved by:
Taking our online placement test (link)
Submitting a language certificate from a course at the appropriate level (see website for accepted certificates).
Sending us a copy of the Transcript of Records from STiNE showing completion of a course at the appropriate level.
After sending us the required documents you can then go ahead and register for the respective course(s).
Registrations without proof of the appropriate placement test or certificate will be cancelled.
N.B. If you have already had your level assessed by us in the last three years or have already presented us with a certificate then you do not need to prove your level again.
