Being able to present important topics i a pleasing and appealing manner is pne of the most important skils in international politics. The right word at the right time can cause major consequences and decide about fundamental developments.
This not only includes preparations of content and didactical structure, but also a convincing presentation and the ability to react confident and flexible to critical questions.
All this is part of the seminar Rhetorics and Presentation Skills and will be analysed and trained on you and combined with theoretical rhetorical models.
Learning objectives:
Delivering convincing presentations and dealing with unplanned events during the presentation situation.
Didactic concept:
The course content will be delivered on practical examples and worked out together with the group. The demo presentations will help to intensify the learning process and will be analysed together as well.

Additional examination information:
Please prepare a short demo presentation for the seminar with a maximum length of 5 minutes. Please make sure you will finish your presentation within that time window to make sure, every student has the possibility to present. You can pick a topic of your choice, it can be but is not limited to the topics of your studies. The presentation may be held in German or English.
