Our Erasmus-partner, the Swiss Federal Institute of Sport Magglinen, will welcome about 40 students and staff members from
different partner universities for this summer school. Beside lectures about intercultural competencies, students
will take part in theoretical and practical workshops with their international peers. In the unique environment of Magglingen.
the students will experience heterogeneity and diversity while learning or improving in sailing, unihockey, kayaking,

a deeper understanding of teaching and learning in intercultural settings.
Foster though adequate active learning strategies the actual experience of diversity.
In addition to the workshops, there will be an attractive cultural program such as visits of the capital Berne, central
Switzerland and the Olympic Museum in Lausanne.
As part of the Federal Office of Sport (FOSPO), the Swiss Federal Institute of Sport Magglingen (SFISM) develops knowledge and imparts
skills for practising and teaching sport and physical activity. Owing to its competence in sport practice and its infrastructure,
SFISM provides unique conditions for hosting summer schools.
