This lecture offers an introduction to the "Law of the European Union." The lecture will present the foundational legal principles of EU law, the institutions of the European Union, its legal instruments as well as the system of judicial remedies. Moreover, it will cover the basics of the European Internal Market.
Learning objectives:
The overarching goal of the lecture is to introduce students to the specificities of EU legal thinking.
Literature:
For each session, you will need a collection of EU law (esp. the EU Treaty and TFEU) as well as the text of the Basic Law.
