Comments/contents:
In this course we explore our values and life concepts in relation to the business world around us.
Buzzwords such as "work-life balance", "sustainability" or "mindfulness" are currently shaping everyday working life. At their core, all these terms deal with the question of a good life in our economic system. On the on ehand, they describe an individual process of searching for a balance between professional demands. On the other hand, it sheds light on personal values and ideas about life. We are all part of a culture and an economic system with prevailing institutions, processes and ideologies. In order to lead a self-determined life, we must deal with ourselves as well as with the economic culture that surrounds us. However, the economy is frequently approached objectively - in numbers, data and facts - the very personal perspective of individual life plans falls short.
In this course we dive into the reflection of our personal connection to the economic paradigm and activities that surround us.
