Comments/contents: This course builds on "Colloquial Tibetan I". We will continue to deal with the basic grammatical structures of Colloquial Tibetan. Students who have not taken part in "Colloquial Tibetan I" but have equivalent knowledge are welcome to join. As a textbook we will use the Manual of Standard Tibetan by Nicholas Tournadre and Sangda Dorje. We will discuss other materials in class. In addition to regular and active participation, students are expected to thoroughly prepare and follow up on the individual sessions. At the end of the semester there will be an exam.
