The seminar will be held as a "reading course" of lectures that are distributed via the internet. This means that the weekly lectures will be presented by course participants. 
The topic can primarly be seen as part of functional analysis, which is a course in functional analysis is a pre-requiste. More information regarding the topic (and its links to dynamical systems and algebra) can be found on the online-course's webpage
