Comments/contents:
Modern information technology endangers the privacy of users: Technological developments, economic interests, homeland security and the increasing willingness of people to take their own privacy no longer seriously, go hand in hand. In this lecture legal and technical solutions to privacy protection are presented and discussed. The lecture aims to raise awareness with a view to the various aspects of privacy and data protection, from international politics to personal life.
