This complex computer-assisted strategy game will require theories and skills in the area of strategic management. You will need to manage a corporation successfully and beat your competition. You will form a top managment team responsible for one coporation. You will need to apply your knowledge and skills that you have previously acquired, complement and help each other. Some theoretical input will be given to assist you.
Learning objectives:
You take over the leadership of a corpration and experience the trade-offs in management decisions. You learn to apply tools and frameworks to make justified decisions and to cope with complexity and uncertainty. You will have to make decisions as part of a team and under time pressure. You learn holistic management and experience trade-offs, side-effects.
Didactic concept:
The management game consiss of various phases. In each decision phase you need to make management decisions concerning your corporation. These are following by a analysis of the results and a planning of future steps. You will have to create a long-term strategy as well as short-term goals and steps.
You will have to participate in ALL rounds in order to successfully manage your corporation. The competition will keep you on your toes.

The examiner of your course will provide information about the hand out of examination tasks / assignments and their submission during the course of this semester, at the earliest after the STiNE Changes and Corrections Period.
