Learning objectives:
After the seminar, the students can distill a message core from any information and write it down in various formats or record it as an audio file. In doing so, they internalize the basic rules of the journalistic craft. They write clearly, quickly and without errors. The importance of correct spelling, grammar and punctuation will also be discussed. The students also get to know how to deal with professional feedback and can reflect on their own work.

A. Sub-module examination:
Type of examination: usually Journalistic contributions. A total of seven formats are expected: four news-pieces (each maximum 800 characters) and three reports (each 3500 characters). The texts must be worked on continuously during the lecture period; they are discussed, edited and discussed in the seminar. Texts that are considered unsuccessful should be revised. All seven (possibly revised) texts must be submitted together on the date listed below.
Examination date (deadline): 02/26/2021
Submission mode: Continuous submission of the texts in digital form to the lecturer (mail@autorchristianheinrich.de) and in addition to the submission deadline as a digital folder (summarized PDF document).
Issue of the assessed examination performances: Is done by the lecturer.
B. Study achievements:
Continuous reading of the daily press and news websites. Search for exemplary or critical reports. Regularly listening to and watching news broadcasts.
