Learning objectives:
The seminar Transformational Sustainability Entrepreneurship puts emphasis on the reflection of ethical aspects in the context of business and real-economy. Students reflect philosophically and practically on social normative thinking and behavior in entrepreneurial and business contexts. It is the goal to learn thinking in transformative alternatives and realizing these in a fictive start-up.
Didactic concept:
At the beginning of the seminar students will learn about the theoretical background on Transformational Sustainability Entrepreneurship (TSE). The aim of the seminar is that the participants will be able to independently develop entrepreneurial-transformational ideas and to elaborate on them in a professional and creative way.
Rough schedule:
Phase 0: Introduction of the seminar and the readings for following session
Phase I: Approaching conceptual understanding of TSE
theoretical / conceputal input on basis of the literature. objective: to capture the spectrum of entrepreneurship, finding own examples of real existing entrepreneurs, guest entrepreneur
Phase II: Development of common understanding of TSE
structured and guided discussion and common understanding, teambuilding and Gaps canvas
Phase III: Final presentation / final pitch: presenting TSE idea and “business plan” to real expert panel
Concluding remarks, Feedback, focus groups and final questions
Literature:
Relevant literature will be given during the seminar.
Additional examination information:
Exam requirements are to give a presentation and to write a written assignment about different topics of transformational entrepreneurship.
