In terms of digitization, the seminar is dedicated to the extension of enterprise architectures and their management. Possible topics include big data (analytics) and privacy, cloud systems and platforms, Internet of Things and smart applications, cross-functional processes and business models in the business ecosystem. Based on established patterns from the lecture advanced requirements of different stakeholders to the enterprise architecture will be developed.
Learning objectives:
- In-depth knowledge of enterprise architectures and their management
- Critical questioning of existing concepts
- Ability to assess the development of the area and to develop innovative concepts
- Apply existing enterprise architecture patterns
- Deeper understanding of different stakeholder perspectives on the architecture
- Ability to apply new creativity and presentation techniques
Didactic concept:
The seminar will take place accompanying the lecture. In the first three weeks you will get to know the presentation technique Pecha Kucha. The assignment of the seminar topics takes place in the second week of lectures. Afterwards, seminar dates are available for processing the assigned topics in teams. During the semester, you will learn new creativity methods such as the Provocation Technique or Progressive Abstraction and their application; your Initiative in terms of using further methods is expressly desired. In the middle of the semester, there will be a feedback sessions to determine the next steps. The seminar concludes with the presentation of the results at the end of the semester.
