Kommentare/ Inhalte: Presenting your research to an audience be it at a conference, at a workshop, to a funding agency or in company to customers is an important task for a scientist. This course gives the students the possibility to improve their presenting skills. Students prepare a draft abstract and conference talk of the results of their Bachelor's thesis (or equivalent) and present it to the course. The draft version will be analyzed by the students and the lecturers to provide feedback. At the end of the course the students prepare a revised abstract and conference talk. The students present their talk in a simulated conference in front of the institute audience, which together with the abstract will be examined.
Lernziel: Present your research confidently and in a motivating form to an audience.
