Weitere Informationen:
In this course you will hone your English skills by imagining that you are starting a business. You will pass through the typical stages of the start-up process whilst at the same time practising key communication skills. Initially we will consider the principles behind successful businesses with particular focus on the USP (Unique selling proposition). You will then devise your own product or service and pitch (present) this idea to investors, represented by your fellow classmates. In so doing, you will refine your presenting skills. Subsequently we will focus on the negotiations that would be necessary for you to launch your product or service. After the course you will be able to perform key tasks when starting a company through the use of appropriate language and strategy.

Enrollment requirements:

Proof of appropriate language level (minimum B2 for B2 courses, C1 for C1 courses), not older than three years.

This can be achieved by:

Taking our online placement test (link)

Submitting a language certificate from a course at the appropriate level (see website for accepted certificates).

Sending us a copy of the Transcript of Records from STiNE showing completion of a course at the appropriate level.

After sending us the required documents you can then go ahead and register for the respective course(s).

Registrations without proof of the appropriate placement test or certificate will be cancelled.

N.B. If you have already had your level assessed by us in the last three years or have already presented us with a certificate then you do not need to prove your level again.
