Kommentare/ Inhalte: Acceptable writing skills will get you through your bachelor program. Great academic writing skills will help you excel during your bachelor thesis and give you a significant competitive advantage should you decide to pursue a master degree. Especially if you consider joining the new international research master in psychology at UHH (starting Fall 2023), this seminar will help you acquire the necessary basics in academic writing. But also if you are simply looking to hone your scientific approach and writing skills, this seminar is definitely for you!

Using the current literature on new work and workplace meetings as a focus point, we will uncover the mechanics of scientific papers published in top-tier organizational psychology outlets. Next, you will work on your own research proposal and learn how to pitch an innovative research idea on paper, from the perfect opener to the "contributions paragraph" to an airtight theoretical rationale.
