Kommentare/ Inhalte: In the winter semester 2021-2022, Prof. Dr. Eva van der Zee will offer a seminar on "Behavioral Law & Economics." The seminar is aimed at students of the Schwerpunktbereichs VI, Law and Economics, but is also open to other students. The aim of the seminar is to discuss behavioral insights in the context of law and economics. The seminar is directed at law students and no prior knowledge of economics is required. The seminar is in English. To pass the course you are required to prepare a term paper and give an oral presentation. To register please send an email to Prof. Dr. Eva van der Zee (eva.leora.van.der.zee@uni-hamburg.de) before October 7 indicating your degree program, as well as the topic you would like to work on. Introduction to the seminar is given on Monday 11 November at 16:15. Deadline for the paper outline is 18 November. This outline should include the title of your paper and a short abstract (500 words). We will discuss the abstract on 22 November in class. Presentations will take place on Monday 10, 17, and 24 January (depending on the number of registrations). The term paper can be submitted until the end of the winter semester 2021-2022. A list of suggested topics can be found below (below).
