Kommentare/ Inhalte: This interactive zoom course will explore the role of collaborative engagement between professionals and recipients of services. Based on Children’s and Human Rights, the session will explore the democratic argument for citizen participation in service development and quality assurance to build a culture of co-production.

Practical tips and techniques to engage in decision-making and the use of quality standards will also be shared.

The course will draw on the work and experience of Norfolk County Council in the UK ,which has been recognised nationally and internationally since 2006 when it became a Beacon Authority for the involvement of young people in the democratic process. The County Council has continued to develop collaborative models for decision-making.

The course will be delivered by:-

Robin Konieczny MA (Edu) Commissioning and Service Development Manager (Adolescent Services) – Norfolk County Council

Ariane Hoppler BA Social Pedagogy, MA (Art History), MA ( Education). Learning and Development Consultant – Norfolk County Council

Both are experienced in the design and delivery of participation projects, lecturing and international projects.

The course will be predominantly delivered in English with German translation available as and when needed.
