Kommentare/ Inhalte: The course provides an overview of the German Criminal Law. After taking this course you will be familiar with the working technique of a German criminal lawyer, judge, prosecutor and scientist. Leaving aside details with particular offences, the course focuses on two

questions: Which criteria do we have to consider, when we impute criminal wrong onto a person? And how is this examination conducted according to the German Criminal Law?

The course will be held in English. It is addressed to students who attend their Erasmus or Master Studies (L.L.M.) at Hamburg University.

However, it is open to all other students who want to practice their legal vocabulary in English.
